His nursing background is primarily in colorectal surgery, but also includes experience on both cardiology and general surgery wards.. He enjoys the chance this role offers to work closely with patients and expand his specialist colorectal knowledge.

How we work

We’re convinced that working in close partnership leads to better outcomes for our patients. This means open, collaborative working, operating as a team for all major surgeries, and excellent communication through our weekly clinic meetings.

We work together with associated speciality doctors, including oncologists, radiologists and gastroenterologists. Discussing challenging cases in a diverse and highly experienced multidisciplinary team ensures the right decisions are taken for each of our patients.

We also work closely with consultant anaesthetist Dr Matthew Clayton, who has a wealth of experience looking after patients undergoing robotic procedures.
